Photography (Beg./Adv.). AP Photo/Studio Art 2D.
We are an award-winning Photography program not just in photography but in video/film, animation, music, and website design. We focus more on the photographer and see the camera as a tool for storytelling. Any camera/cell phone is welcome in class. We just want students to improve daily.
In May 2019, eight students took the AP Studio Art 2D Exam with a Photography Emphasis. They were the first in our school district. All 8 students passed with a score of 3 or higher (One - 5; Two - 4; Five - 3), and will get college credit.
Mr. Lim's students have won and/or been exhibited at the Museum of Photographic Arts, Association of Texas Photography Instructors, San Diego County Fair, Bonita Museum, City Gallery @ San Diego City College, San Diego History Center, and the San Diego Art Institute. Cheers!
